Elis Kauppi Rare Pendant Necklace Produced By Kupittaan Kulta Finland
An exceptionally rare pendant and neckring form a pioneer of modernist Finnish jewelry, Elis Kauppi. Produced in Truku, Finland circa the 1950's from the designers own studio, Kupittaan Kulta. The studio was founded by Kauppi in 1945 with contemporaries Pekka Kivipuro and Jorma Nurmi, where Kauppi served as the houses lead designer. The pendant features 21 carnelian cabochons set in sterling silver and retains it's original neckring.
All stones are firmly set with no condition issues of any kind. Literature : Finnish Modern Design, Aav, pg 390.
