Rare Anna Greta Eker Curves Bracelet, Norway Plus Handmade Modernist Sterling Bracelet / Bangle Bracelet. Born in Finland in 1926, Anna Greta Eker moved to Norway in the 1950s, where she created designs for the Norway Plus Design Center (Centre for Applied Arts, Fredrikstad, Norway), which flourished into the 1970s.It was among design centers at the forefront of the Scandinavian (and international) modernist movement. This rare bracelet is signed ND Norway 925S, and is from the 60s or 7os. The size is 7 ¾ around the inside, and measures 2 ½ long at the center front. The sterling silver weight is 48.8 grams. The bracelet was hand hammered, with orbs added at the ends.
This beautiful bracelet is classic modernist, from Ekers Curves series. You can readily find rings from this series, but this bracelet is much rarer. I have worn it once. If you are outside of the contiguous 48 United States, please ask me what the price would be for mailing it to you.
