Vintage Andresen & Scheinpflug Enamel Sterling Silver Bracelet NORWAY 195C. Width (across bracelet face-widest point): 1 1/16.
Jens Ingvar Andresen was apprentice at the workshop tortdahl & Meldahl from 1915 two 1919. He stayed with the firm until 1931 when Meldahl left to form his own company. Andresen Followed Meldahl and continued to work for him until 1936. It was during 1936 That Andresen completed his journeyman's piece and was officially licensed.
At this time he and a companion co-founded a separate silver enamel workshop and called it Andresen & Scheinpflug. The workshop Began life at Vognmannsgt.8 in Oslo, Norway, but later moved to orgt. He business was closed in 1966. Signed "TYA" (conjoined), and hallmarked "925".
Additionally, the letters "XIV" or "NX" are engraved inside. White and black enamel on sterling silver.Hinged closure with safety-chain and. Produced between 1936 to 1966. Minor hinge repair done at some point (photos #6, #7 & # 11), although the repair was very well-done (please review all photographs). Minor wear and discoloration to enamel in this area. Very rare piece in very good condition!
