Vintage Norway Sterling 1960's Ragnar Hansen Nut Bangle Tone Vigeland

VINTAGE RARE NORWAY BANGLE BRACELET. BEAUTIFUL EARLIEST VERSION OF THIS "NUT". The very definition of wearable art! This circa 1960 Modernist sterling silver bangle bracelet was designed and created by the world famous artist, Ragnar Hansen under the guidance of the legendary Tone Vigeland, at the historic Plus Applied Arts Center in Fredrickstad, Norway (now known as the PLUS Studios).

This is amongst his earliest Modernist designs. Simply known as the NUT and the bracelet is fully hallmarked. Most of the jewelry created by them during this time period can only be found in museums, but you have the rare opportunity to add this important piece to your collection. Diameter is 2 1/2 across. It looks Fabulous on the Wrist!
