Bjorn Weckstrom for Finnish LAPPONIA Flaming Bronze Modernist Necklace

Amazing Vintage Bronze Modernist Necklace from World Famous Lapponia. This is an incredible piece from one of the makers that are known around the world. Björn Weckström was the forerunner designing sculpture like jewellery for Lapponia. He was inspired by the shape of gold nuggets from the Finnish Lapland and by the Finnish landscape with all its snow and frozen lakes.

Björn Weckström for LAPPONIA, Finland; Vintage 70's big sculptural Flame Bronze necklace Pendant with chain. The name of the design is General Motors. The lower part moves on an axle between the two parts. The chain can be adjusted, see pictures.

In very good, used condition, light signs of normal use. Marks: LAPPONIA, BjornW and FINLAND.
