Bjorn Weckstrom, born in Helsinki, Finland in1935, Weckstrom is a sculptor and jewelry designer who has designed many of his best known pieces for the famed Finnish company, Lapponia. His highly collectible designs have been worn by many celebrities, and the artist has received numerous design awards including the prestigious Pro Finlandia medal (1971), and the Kaj Franck Design Prize (2013). This wonderful Modernist sterling silver bracelet designed for Lapponia is a fine example of Weckstrom's work. Made with exceptional craftsmanship, the six links are attached by hidden rings, and the unique mechanical clasp is almost invisible.
