David Andersen Sterling Silver enamel earrings Norway Norwegian Summer
Up for your consideration is a pair of lovely vintage earrings from David Andersen. It is not often to see this for sale. This is "Summer" from the Four Seasons series. These are beautiful gold gilt sterling silver clipback earrings with glowing blue and green enamel on the faces. The backs are marked "D-A Sterling Norway 925S", for the venerable Oslo firm founded in 1832.
They are designes by Jorgensen. These desirable earrings measure 7/8" by 5/8", and weigh 8 grams together on my little scale. They are in very good condition, with normal signs of use and a little tarnish.
There are no dings, dents or bends, and the clipbacks are in good working order. The enamel has no problems to report. The dark areas you see are reflections from my camera.
