Georg Jensen Sterling Silver Classic Dove Art Nouveau Bracelet #14, Early 1900s
Designed by Georg Jensen himself in the early 1900's, this special bracelet sometimes called Dove Birds and Beads is referenced in Janet Drucker's iconic book, Georg Jensen, A Tradition of Splendid Silver. It is pictured on the cover with silver beads and on pages 114, 170 and 171 with stone beads. The marks on the underside indicate the early Jensen GJ in a box, the bracelet is also marked #14, DENMARK, and STERLING. Some tiny marks in an oval cartouche are on the very top of this last link but are difficult to decipher. The bracelet measures approximately 7.5 inches long by 0.75 inches wide.
