This brooch was designed by the "Queen of Scandinavian design", Grete Pirtz Kittelsen. Also known for her exquisite enamel work, Grete was the granddaughter of Jacob Tostrup. The title for this work is Scales. It is enamel with a gold wash over sterling silver. It measures 2.25 in diameter.
