Authentic Vintage Modernist Sterling Silver Erling Christoffersen "Butterfly" Sommerfugl. Neckring and Pendant Norway - Scandinavian. Rarely found handmade "Butterfly" (Sommerfugl) pendant and neckring/choker by jeweler, Erling Christoffersen in Fredrikstad, Norway at the PLUS workshop.

His correct Maker's Mark is on both pieces. Neckring: 16" around, 5.5" diameter Pendant: 3" x 1.5". CURRENTLY A HIGH FASHION ITEM! Erling Christoffersen opened Norway Silver Designs, PLUS workshop along with his wife, Anna Greta Eker in 1958. They worked to preserve and utilize traditional Norwegian designs while introducing new concepts and modern designs in their jewelry. The workshop was closed in 1970, making these coveted items collectible.
