Norway David Andersen Modernist 3-Tier Necklace & Chain 925S Sterling Orig. Chain
This is a beautiful, abstract design, modernist necklace by the premier Norwegian designer David Andersen. It is made of 925S Sterling Silver and includes the 24 inch chain. I believe the chain is original (but I cannot confirm that) to this piece as the chain is also marked 925S but does not have a mark for Andersen. The hallmark on the pendant shows D-A, Norway, Sterling and 925S. The pendant's abstract design is in 3 tiers with 2 dangles on the bottom tier.
The tiers are an elongated "diamond" shape in an open cut manner. The pendant measures 2 1/2 inches by 2 inches (not counting the hanger).
This was obtained in an estate sale. On the reverse side of the top tier there appears to be some stain on the metal.
