Norway Ottar Hval Solje Brooch Pin 830S Silver Filigree Dangles Oval Spoons VTG
This is an absolutely stunning bunad Solje by the Norwegian designer Ottar Hval of Oslo, Norway. It is made of 830S silver. It consists of 2 orbs from which long dangles are affixed. The orbs and dangles show intricate filigree work. The dangles have a floral motif with the filigree and gold oval shaped spoons are attached to the floral filigree.
Also at the very bottom is a stylized cross. The entire piece appears to have been lightly washed in gold (vermeil). The spoons and the stylized cross are shiny gold and catch the eye of the observer.
The piece is 1 1/2 inches wide by approx. The hallmark shows 830S and the mark for Hval. This is a gorgeous piece with no damage and is in excellent condition.
