1960s sterling silver bangle by Anna Greta Eker for Norway Designs. The design is very architectural and it stands nicely above the wrist. The top features two angled elements, each decorated with a geometric openwork design (note that upon close inspection, the rings and bars used in the design are individually soldered together--it is not a mere stamping). I have seen this design element used as the terminals on a neck ring, but have not seen another example of this bracelet.
It is rare and beautiful. Much more beautiful in person, I always have a hard time photographing the clean reflective surfaces of Scandinavian Modern! STERLING, ND shop mark, and a lovely large stamped A.
Inner diameter about 2 1/2 by 2 1/8. Width at the peak of the design is 1. Weight is a substantial 55.6g. It is in overall excellent condition with light vintage wear; it is slightly misshapen as seen in the last photo, a trusted jeweler or silversmith could easily right this.Larger items may be more.
