RARE Georg Jensen Denmark Sterling Silver Bracelet #115, Bent Gabrielsen Design

He designed for Hans Hansen for many years, later designing for Georg Jensen. Gabrielsen won the prestigious Lunning Prize in 1964. This beautifully crafted sterling silver bracelet in the rarely seen Sycamore Pod pattern was designed by Bent Gabrielsen in 1953. A remarkable piece based on the seed pods from the sycamore tree, it won the Gold Prize at the 1960 Milan Triennial.

The stunning, slinky bracelet is comprised of articulated propeller-like links with a fully integrated hook closure and safety latch. It measures 7 1/2 x 1, hallmarked with Georg Jensen oval, 925 S Denmark, 115. This highly collectible piece is in excellent condition.
