She became the first woman to design jewellery for Georg Jensen and her bold, minimalist, and always innovative pieces have stood the test of time. The bangle is masterfully crafted from sterling silver. Nanna Ditzel was born in Copenhagen in 1923.She began training as a cabinetmaker and then went on to study at the School of Arts and Crafts and the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen. She trained in furniture design, completing her studies in 1946.
