This stunning silver necklace and earring set from the Tundra collection was crafted in the 1960s by Regine Juhls in her workshop in the wilderness of northern Norway. Located far above the Arctic circle, her distinctive work is inspired by the local landscape which is covered by snow eight months of the year. The "Tundra" collection is considered a modern classic, and the rough, unpolished silver surfaces contribute to the Brutalist nature of the organic design. The magnificent necklace is a statement piece comprised of a substantial center section with dangling bowls designed to catch the light. A very long piece which may be worn shortened, it measures 36 (18 long per side), hallmarked JUHLS 830S 7.

The matching earrings are 2 long, hallmarked JUHLS 925S. Beautiful, rarely seen pieces in excellent condition.
