RARE STUNNING STERLING SILVER & AMBER FISH ENSEMBLE N E FROM DENMARK BRACELET EARRINGS RING This is an smashing ensemble of handmade sterling silver by Niels Erik From of Denmark. This unusual set carries the same motif of fun stylized fish, stars and large round cabochons of natural amber. I think that this set may have been custom made.
The bracelet is composted of 5 segments measuring 1 1/4" long and 1" wide for a total length of 7" and each segment is set with a large, beautiful 7/8" diameter of precious, natural amber. The bracelet has a huge, slide lock clasp, which has an large release button. The earrings match the bracelet, with similar, but a smaller version of the fish and measure 1" x 3/4" and is set with a 7/16 round cut amber. The earrings are clip on type and the spring actions work as they should.
The ring is the same dimensions as the earring and is size 7 3/4. The ring has a fish on it that is different from the other pieces and looks at you with cute, bulging eyes.
All of the pieces are signed by the Artist. This is a truly whimsical set and has a George Jensen flair, probably from the 50's. Each piece was handmade and assembled by this highly skilled Jeweler. The vintage set is in fabulous condition with a silver patina, which is consistent with its' age.
