Vintage 70s Hand Carved BALTIC AMBER Necklace w Sterling Silver, Genuine Amber

Rare collectible amber necklace from Lithuania circa 1970-79s. It has been in my family all this time but sadly not worn much, so I finally decided to let it go. This is a unique piece of jewelry as it's been made by the local artist (I think it was Kaunas, but I can't be sure) a long time ago. It probably was restrung at some point, but again I don't know for sure because it was my grandma's - not mine.

The necklace length is 23 1/4. Amber beads are hand carved and approx. 1" and 7/16" thick, with smaller 3/16 sterling silver beads between them. The matte glass beads are also handmade and all different. Sterling silver beads and clasp all hand cast.
