Vintage Anna Greta Eker Sterling Silver Mid-Century Modernist Dangle Earrings

POST BACK PIERCED DANGLE EARRINGS. Anna Greta Eker was an important designer at PLUS, the applied Arts Center of Fredrikstad, Norway that flourished from 1958 until the 1970s. An industrial designer, PLUS produced some remarkable jewelry, the finest examples designed by Eker, her husband Erling Christoffersen and Tone Vigeland. Eker's work can either be organic or geometric in form.

It is distinctive in its use of hand hammering. These gorgeous and rare vintage Anna Greta Eker sterling silver earrings measure approx. 1 7/8" in height and 1 5/16" wide. Please refer to last photo with quarter, for scale/size.

They feature Anna's signature lightly hammered look in a versatile and attractive mid-century form. Earrings hang from sterling silver round posts.
