Vintage David-Andersen Viking Saga Sterling Silver Bracelet, Earrings and Ring Set. A striking set from the David-Andersen Saga Series or jewelry copied from excavated Viking artifacts.
Description from the Saga catalog: Very heavy and elegant. Found in a woman's grave from about 300 A. And was probably the property of a lady of noble birth. Found at Vik in Sogn. The design on all three pieces consists of a raised middle "bar" with double dashes along each side' the ring and bracelet end with 2 circles at each end. While a somewhat simple design, it captures and reflects the light beautifully. The ring and bracelet are somewhat adjustable; the ring fits like a size 7. The clip style earrings have a very subtle curve to them. All of the pieces are stamped. Bracelet: "David-Andersen / Norway Sterling 925S". Earrings: "D-A / Norway / Sterling / 925S". Ring: "925S David-Andersen Noway Sterling" and Copy Orig. Condition: There are no signs of damage or repair on any of the pieces. All of the edges are smooth. The clips are fully functional and close securely. There is a little patina and very minor signs of wear, all normal for pre-owned vintage jewelry.
