Vintage Mod 830H Silver Necklace Brutalist Finland Kultateollisuus Oy Turku

It measures 23 1/2 end to end and weighs a substantial 2.27 oz troy (or 70+ g). Its identifying marks are found on the bolt-end ring: a winged hammer (Kultateollisuus Oy); smooshed assay stamp; 830H (metal content); Town mark (Turku); year date S7 (1971); and on the toggle, the initials BR_ likely the individual silversmith designer of the piece. Those of you who collect and wear Finland Jewelry will have a better understanding of these marks than I.

This is a cable linked piece with equi-distant biomorphic forms and'fancy' clasp closure. Of soldered construction it looks handmade although I feel confident the podded stations are in fact cast.
