12" long, 8" front to back and 7 tall - the workmanship on this is EXQUISITE. Similar building techniques used in Amish building, most of it is held together with wooden dowels. The hinges and handles are metal but otherwise all wood construction.

There is a string on the interior that prevents the lid from straining the hinges when it is opened. Scandinavian designs are sketched all-over, this jewelry box is truly a work of art.
