Vtg 1940's Nils Martin Elvik Norway Guilloche Enamel Sterling Pendant & Necklace. Stunning and magnificently detailed example of vintage mid 19th century Scandinavian guilloche enamel craftsmanship by renowned Norwegian silversmith Nils Martin Elvik of Oslo (NE).

This artist later became well known for his modernist silver jewelry, but early in his career he had created beautiful & detailed scenic guilloche enamel jewelry that remains highly sought after because of its unsurpassed design & execution. This pendant consists of a center guilloche enamel on a sterling silver medallion where a scene of flowers in a circle is set against a background of white enamel. Above the pendant is a guilloche enamel accent pendant in blue & white.

The chain necklace is sterling silver & oval link style 925/ Italy/ 18 inches long. Pendant measures 1 1/2" x 3/4". Stamped hallmark on back reads NE/ 925S/ NORSK ARBEID.
