This very rare masterpiece is instantly recognizable as the work of the renowned. Tapio Wirkkala'Hopeakuu' of Finland.

This is the large version of the Kinetic Full Moon Necklace and dates to the 1970s. What a stunning work of wearable art!

It is a sculpture to wear and it is very rare to find the large version. It was constructed of solid sterling silver and features a huge circular pendant with 13 graduating kinetic rings that move and undulate independently around the central ring.

I have included its original chain as well as an incredible heavy sterling choker that is a stunning necklace in its own right! Ive never come across another one quite like it! You have versatile drama in two different looks! And the choker can be worn with other pieces as well! Pendant Dimensions: 4 3/8 diameter.

Chain Dimensions: 25 1/4 long. Condition: A couple of the rings have some minor bends which is very common In a piece of this age and with this type of construction. I will leave it up to the new owner to decide to straighten it out or not.

There are also some surface marks and abrasions here and there. I will also leave it to the new owner to have it polished if desired.
